The winter weather is here and she came with a BANG. This means our skin will be tussling with the cold weather to stay healthy, hydrated, and smooth. As an oily/combination skin girlie, here are my two go-to hydrating moisturizers to punch back at this cold winter:
Dermalogica's Skin Smoothing Cream Moisturizer
My all-time favorite cold-weather go-to! With both oily and drier areas of my face, this moisturizer delivers! It is thick and hydrating but it doesn't feel heavy or thick on the skin. it doesn't give an oily appearance either. At a price point of $47. This moisturizer is WELL WORTH IT! According to Dermologica, this moisturizer is made with hyaluronic acid, cucumber, arnica, vitamin c + e, and grape seed extract to protect the skin from everyday stressors and lock in moisture and from my three years of using this product, I STICK BESIDE IT!

2. Aquaphor
This option is more of an everyday essential but if you live in an extremely cold state like New York or if you use skin-drying topicals like Tretinoin, then this has you COVERED! Aquaphor is more of an ointment, but it is a skin protectant. It is heavy, but in a fight with this cold weather its's going to fight back! Personally, I feel like when I apply this in the winter, because the cold weather is more drying, it doesn't feel as heavy on my skin once I'm outside and I ALWAYS have radiant, moisturized, and protected skin, all for a price point at approximately $7. (Also just a disclaimer this product is thick so I would recommend applying a light layer so that you aren't clogging your pores.

Over the past 5 years, these have been my ultimate go hard or go home products! These are MUST HAVE moisturizers, that have saved my skin countless times from becoming dry and ashy, while out in -30 degree weather. And there you have it, my top picks for winter moisturizers, that punch back through the cold weather! What are some of your favorite moisturizers? Let us know in the comments below!
